Frequently Asked Questions

What are your store hours?
Our hours frequently change back, so check in or call to guarantee we are open, however, as a rule of thumb in the Early Spring we are open M-F 9-6, Sa-Su 9-5; Spring & Early Summer M-F 8-8, Sa 8-6, Su 8-5; Late Summer & Fall M-Sa 8-6, Su 8-5; Winter M-Su 9-5.

Do you guarantee your plants?
We stand behind our nursery stock (trees and shrubs) for one full year at a value equal to what was paid for the plant. Perennials and roses are guaranteed for one full year, half the value paid for the plant; and we also stand behind our annuals and houseplants for 30 days for half the value paid for the plant. All replacements must be accompanied by a receipt and you may only replace a dead plant once (the plant given at the replaced value is not guaranteed for any period of time).

Do you hire summer help?
The Garden Barn does all of its hiring in February and the early part of March to ensure we are well staffed for the spring season; we do not hire for the summer.

Do you offer a discount on large purchases?
We are a retail outlet and do not offer wholesale prices; however, we offer special incentives to members of the Garden Barn Garden Club, such as the chance to earn $10 rewards certificates for each $300 dollars spent.
 
When do you load bulk material?
We are capable of loading bulk material during all our regular retail hours; M-Su 9-5.
